This is the third annual study on unsolicited email. The most notable trend from previous years is in opinions on regulation. Many people now believe there should be some regulation on unsolicited email where in past years, the majority felt it should remain unregulated. Surprisingly still is that most respondents state that they sometimes or always read unsolicited email depending on the message topic. Spam is not inadvertently deleted from inboxes.
