1. How do I join the panel?
  2. It will only take a couple of minutes. Simply, go to the "Join the Panel" page and answer a few questions.

  3. What do you do with the personal information I provide?
  4. The information you provide us is used to group your answers with other panelists. All personal information is kept in a secured data file and used for analysis. Your individual identity is always kept confidential and is never sold to a third party.

  5. How often will I be asked to participate in an on-line survey?
  6. The actual number of on-line surveys will vary from month to month. Typically you will be invited to participate in 1 on-line survey per month. The length of the survey also will vary but is usually 10-15 minutes in length.

  7. What if I need to change my e-mail address or other personal information?
  8. When you sign up, you will be issued a unique respondent ID number, which will appear on every survey you receive from Esearch. If your email address (or other personal information) changes, you can edit your profile by going to http://it.esearch.com/edit/ -- and entering the email address Esearch.com has on file for you AND your UserID number. With this information, you will be taken to your profile where you can update the entry.

  9. Why do you ask for so much personal information?
  10. ur clients are typically looking for very specific business or IT professionals. We need to do our best to find those respondents. We sort our data so that we only send a survey those most likely to qualify for the interview. If you are uncomfortable providing that information, that's fine. The only required field is your email address. However, by providing less information, you will not be selected for as many surveys.

  2. We will send you an e-mail message letting you know that you've been selected to participate in a survey.

  3. How long does it take to complete a survey?
  4. Surveys will vary in length but most will take 10-15 minutes to complete.

  5. What if I have a question about taking a survey?
  6. Please e-mail us at esearch@esearch.com or call at 1-310-265-4608 .

  7. What if I don't want to or don't have time to take a particular survey?
  8. Or are going on vacation? There may be times when you are unable or don't want to participate in a survey. We certainly understand and respect your decision. We will keep you on the panel and hopefully, will catch you on our next available survey.

Compensation

  1. When am I eligible to receive compensation?
  2. As a member of our business panel, nearly every Esearch.com survey will have a cash incentive associated with it. Each person who qualifies and completes the survey will be paid as per the notification on the specific survey. In all instances, details associated with each survey's payments/prizes are clearly stated in the survey's introductory email message.

  3. How am I paid?
  4. Esearch.com usually makes payments via Paypal.com (using a respondents email address). Individual checks can be requested as well.

  5. How long does it take to receive payment?
  6. Each survey varies. Typically respondents are paid within 4-weeks of participation.

  7. How will I know when a payment has been sent?
  8. When Esearch.com is paying through Paypal.com, you will receive an email notification that we have made a payment to you. Follow the instructions on the payment email.

  9. How much do you pay?
  10. Again, it varies by survey. Usually honorariums are between $15 and $50.00.
